Micah Claire's First Christmas!!!

Micah Clarie had a wonderful first Chirstmas. She loves the exersaucer and stackable musical stars that Santa brought her. Although she got many great gifts, she was most thrilled with all the shiny wrapping paper.

Getting Better

Well it's taken a little over a week, but Micah Claire's cold is finally gone. Usually at meal time, Micah sits in her bouncy. But, recently she has turned into a nosey rosey who wants to see everything (I think she gets that from her daddy). So, this week we let her sit in her high chair and she loves it! She has really started talking in the last 2 weeks. She is now making the m, d, h, and n sounds along with this VERY high pitched squeal she just loves to make. Only a few more days to Santa comes!!!!!!!

Sick Little Girl

Well, Micah has had her first cold. On Tuesday we had to take her to the doctor. He said she has a small cold, nothing too serious. Of course mom, dad and Nana have done nothing but spoil her this week. Her daddy (the one who said she didn't need toys yet) went and bought her a baby doll to make her feel better. Can you say whipped!!!! She is finally starting to feel better today. So, hopefully she will all better by the weekend. Life use to be so calm and peaceful.

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!!! On Tuesday Micah Claire turned 3 months old and I went back to work part-time. Of course I cried all the way to work, but luckily I was so busy seeing patients that it kept me distracted. Micah just loves her sitter, which is a HUGE relief for me. She now weighs 14#5oz and is 25 1/4 inches long. If you were to plot her height-for-age on a growth chart she would be off the growth chart (somewhere around 102nd percentile,YIKES). She is laughing and babbling non-stop and trying to sit up on her own. We put the Christmas tree up and she loves to look at the lights. We let her help put her baby's first Christmas ornaments on the tree. Yes I said ornaments (plural). Shawn bought her one and Grandpaw Barry has bought her 4. Good thing she's not spoiled!
