What a week!

Are we there yet???

Nana is Micah Claire's biggest cheerleader

Micah Claire kept us entertained during visitation

1st trip to McDonalds!!!!

Finally home! Freshly bathed in & her princess bath robe!

Even though this week has flown by, it has been a long & exhausting one. My Papaw Stoner passed away this past Sunday morning. So, Tuesday morning we packed up and drove 3 hours to Helena. Surprisingly, Micah Claire did really well on the trip. We had visitation till after 8 pm, so it was almost 9pm when we finally got to our hotel room. Micah Claire was exhausted but the excitement of being in a new place kept her till almost 10:30pm. She did really well during the funeral, burial and lunch. She got to meet some great aunts & uncles, 1st, 2ND & 3rd cousins that she had never seen before. Wednesday morning we all ate breakfast at Mc Donalds. It was Micah Claire's first trip there! Nana says it doesn't count as her first trip because she didn't get to eat anything from there. The two days we were gone Micah Claire never got a full nap in, due to all the activity. But, on the way home she crashed. She slept the entire 3 hours back!!!!!

1,2,3 sick Cowart's

It seems like forever since I have been able to post anything. These last two weeks have been nothing short of exhausting. Last Monday night Micah Claire had a runny nose and a slight fever. I thought it was just more teething signs. By early Tuesday morning she had a terrible cough. So we loaded up and went to see Dr. Perrin Tuesday morning. She said we just had a cold and gave us some cough medicine. By Thursday Micah Claire was wheezing and coughing non-stop. So, back to the doctor we go. Now Micah Claire had Bronchitis, YIKES! She had to start on antibiotics. Although she's not 100% better, she's getting there. And of course she did get two more teeth during this time. (So you can just imagine how pleasant she was to be around).
Luckily I was scheduled for a vacation this week! It couldn't have come at a better time. Even though I have a little bit of a cold now, I am still enjoy my time off. I spent one day cleaning the inside of my house, one day cleaning the outside of my house, one day shopping and another day with Shawn!
I turned 28 back in March; since then I have had to hear about how Shawn's married to an "older" woman. Well this past Tuesday he FINALLY turned 28! He took the day off and we went fishing and mud riding in the rhino! It was soooo much fun. I think we had for gotten how to have fun without a little one around. After all the fun he started complaining that his ear hurt. So he had to go to the doctor yesterday. Now he is on antibiotics for an ear infection. I tell ya when it rains it pours.
Many of you know that my Grandfather was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. We weren't sure if he was going to make it, but by the grace of God he did. We were suppose to go visit him this weekend, but this morning they had to put him back in the hospital. Also my Aunt is clinging to life as well. Please keep our family in your prayers, we need. (Like I said, when it rains it pours)
