My PSA against Chick-fl-a

On Saturday we went to see Santa at the mall. (Needless to say my child was scared to death of the jolly old sole so we didn't get any pictures; maybe next year!) We decided to go a head and eat at Chick-fl-a while we where there. I had taken Micah Claire's own food, but she wanted a bite of my chicken nuggets. She NEVER eats meat so I thought what the heck I'll give her a few bits. I decided to get a refill on the way out and while I was standing in line waiting I saw this " All our foods are cooked in peanut oil." OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are at least 8 huge panels displaying all their food options and this was only written on the Bottom of one of the screens and was written very small (I feel). Thankful my child only tested out to have very minor allergy to peanuts. We've been told to avoid them and she will probably out grow them by 3-5 years old. What if she had a severe allergy to peanuts like the 3 million people in the USA who do?????? I guess as I parent I should look SUPER closely for things like that. But, I feel they should have this announcement posted on every display, on their counter and by their registers. So parents be forewarned that Chick-fl-a is not an allergy friendly restaurant.

My sister's little boy, Jed, has a severe peanut allergy so they are anti-Chic-fil-A as well. It just happens to be one of my favorite places to eat, but maybe I will have to start boycotting them until they change their oil.
