Birthday Parties and Alligators

Last Saturday Micah Claire went to her buddy Asher's 3rd Birthday party.

She was a little hesitant at first about going down the slide.

After the 1st time down, she was hooked!

This is Brooklyn, M.C's friend from Gymnastics!

Here they are jumping in the bouncy castle!

Then it was time for cake!
Today Micah Claire's best little buddy, Aubree (AKA Aub's) had her 3rd birthday party at Chick-fil-A in hot springs.

This is the only picture I could get of these 2 sitting still. They were non-stop climbing and sliding! The birthday girl coming down the slide! Then M.C. coming down the slide; what a smile!
Then it was time to eat! Each kid-o got their own chicken nugget meal and drink. I looked at the cups and they had a clear liquid in it. I just assumed it was water. M.C. kept drinking and drinking and her eyes got read and started watering and I couldn't figure out what was going on. Finally she stopped drinking and said "Momma what is this?" I told her it was water and she said no momma it's not water it's wonderful! Jessica said it's Sprite, Shawn and I just feel out laughing. M.C. has never has a carbonated beverage; it was her first experience and she LOVED IT! She would not put that cup down to save her life; she drank the entire thing in a matter of seconds! Bless her heart, her life will never be the same after that; LOL!

Then it was time for the cake! After we sang to Aubs and they took the candles off, Aubs stuck her finger in the middle of the cake and then licked the icing off her fingers. Now that's my kind of girl! I just had to post this picture! Aubs was super excited about opening her presents and I think she snatched one up from her mom and this was Jessica's reaction!
After Aub's party we headed to the Alligator Zoo. This was M.C. and her daddy's first trip there. I think there were 200 people there, it was jammed packed!

I can't believe this man turns his back to all these hungry alligators; that's one brave, or maybe stupid man!

M.C wasn't too sure about these gators checking her out!

Checking out the HUGE logger head turtles.

They had little gators that you could touch. It took M.C. quit a while to work up the nerve to touch one.

This little goat kept jumping on daddy's leg and M.C. was just squeal; she thought it was the funniest thing in the world!

Here she is feeding the donkey her last piece of bread.

And then she stuck her empty hand back in and got nipped by the donkey! PRICELESS!

Me and my girl! When we left the alligator zoo it was well past her nap time; we didn't make it a few blocks down the road and she was out like a light. But as you can tell, even her nap wasn't separating her from her Chick-fil-A balloon and stuffed cow!

Finally home and still tired; nothing like cuddling on the couch with your daddy! :)

Special Delivery and new pics of Kinley

When we got home from Gymnastics last night we had a package waiting on our back door step. I said Micah Claire the mail man brought us a special delivery today and she just lite up and started clapping. She instantly said, is it for Sissy's room (can you tell we've had a lot of stuff for the room delivered, ha!) I told her I thought they were the letters that Ms. Courtney had made for Kinley's room. She jumped out of the car, grabbed the box and headed straight for the couch. As I heading over to the couch she said MOM get the scissors there's a lot of tape on here! When we got the box open she said oh Momma Ms. Courtney sent me a card! I just giggled and asked her what Ms. Courtney said in the card, and this is what I got: Dear Micah Claire I hope you have a wonderful birthday; love Ms.Courtney! I just about wet my pants when she said that! Then she went back to digging in the box and I heard a loud squeal. I said what is it M.C. and she said; Oh Momma she sent me some big bubbles! Cracked me right up! Then she finally got to the letters. She was tearing the paper up so fast I was so afraid she was going to hurt the letters.

I said oh what letter is that... and she said... It's a Y! LOL

I said oh what is that M.C..... it's an A momma! Poor kids she's got a lot to learn before Kindergarten; lol!

Then we lined them all up. I don't know who was happier me or M.C.! They are perfect and I can't wait to get the hung in the nursery!!!!!

Tuesday one of our high risk OB patients didn't keep her appointment, so my friend Lynn said girl get up here you can have her appointment time; LUCKY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got to see my little Kinley; isn't' she precious! She weighed 3#2oz and was perfect.

This child yawned 20 times in 10 minutes; bless her heart I guess she was worn out . I couldn't believe how wide she could open her mouth; it honest to God looked like her face was splitting in half; thank goodness it really wasn't!

We're getting ready....

Today I am officially 29 weeks! I still can't believe that Kinley will be here in 11 short weeks. When I was pregnant with Micah Claire I had her done months before she arrived.... but not so much this time. Last weekend we finally emptied the guest bedroom out and started working on sissy's room! The Former Guest room...

Daddy taping off the room and as you can tell M.C. was beside herself with excitement! She wanted to help daddy sooooo bad... and you can see how much daddy was enjoying/appreciating her help; ha!

Daddy is becoming such the great painter; he doesn't even need the ceilings taped off; he can cut in that paint like a pro!
Room it's time to assemble the new bed!

Ta-da it's put together and I LOVE the dark espresso wood!

Then it was time for the bedding! M.C. was beside her self at this point; she kept asking "is sissy coming?!" Bless her heart she is so ready to meet her baby sister!
I am still looking for a chair and a dresser for the room; hopefully I find them soon! The curtains should be ready very soon! And I found a wonderfully creative girl, Courtney, to make the letters for Kinley's room. She sent me a picture of a few of letters last week and they looked amazing; I so cant wait to see them! If you need any kind of art work you should check her out; I don't think there's anything she can't do!
And this weekend we had some family maternity pictures done at Burns Park in North Little Rock. I have to say my friend Jessica did an amazing job and she's sooo easy to work with. She's put a few pictures up on her blog if ya wanna check them out:
I so can't wait to see the rest of them!

34 months on the 4th of July!

We spent this long 4th of July weekend at our camper on DeGray Lake. We got up really early Saturday morning and headed to Brushy Creek. As soon as we hit the long windy back roads, Daddy rolled down the windows and cranked up the music. I looked it the mirror and saw my girl smiling and dancing and couldn't resist taking this picture!

Uncle Eric and Aunt Ashley bought M.C. a new (HUGE) water soaker. And of course she just loved it. (And let me just add.....I so can't wait till they have kids because pay back is going to be soooo sweet!)
Look at that little devilish smile!
As you can see Nana and and Aunt Ashley were her first set of victims.

And poor Aunt Ashley got even more due to Uncle Eric's egging M.C. on! Thank goodness she's such a good sport! M.C. getting ready to head out on the lake; glasses-check; Dora hat-check; water gun-check... lets role out!M.C. Loving the boat ride!
My two knuckle headsShe was so tickled that she almost tipped her daddy over!M.C. had a blast watching Nana, Uncle Eric, Daddy and Aunt Ashley playing Bag-o. After the big kids got threw playing Daddy showed her how to play and she loved it!Look at that perfect toss! She made several shots... beginners luck I'm sure, ha!Me and My GirlFamily Picture time. M.C. riding her Tinkerbell 4 power-wheels to the potty with Poppa!M.C. loved the tub in the camper. She kept asking me why is tub so small and who made this small tub!Your future American Idol! LOL

Sunday we took a picnic lunch out on the boat.A little water up the nose; LOL!My little water lover!CheeseWhen we got back from the lake, Nana had the hammock all set up and M.C. could wait to see what it was all about.
And this is about how these next few pictures went......Hey Dad can I get in with you.... oh sure dear come on over!OMG be careful M.C. don't tump me over......Okay.... we finally made it.... oh no be very still or we're gonna roll of the other side! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! And then 10 seconds later she was ready to get up.
No we haven't converted to Hinduism..... this is just where my child decided it was best to wipe her hands after she ate a few Oreos. :)This pictures just cracks me up! We got so tired of taking M.C. to the potty that we told her if she had to go bad enough she could just go out in the grass and sure enough she took us up on the offer. She kept trying to figure out how to do it without getting herself wet; so finally her Daddy came to the rescue. He got so tickled as her... as you can tell from the picture! Around 8:30 Sunday night we loaded up and headed out to watch the fireworks on the lake. Micah Claire turned 34 months on the 4th of July and what a better to ring that in than with a firework show.

M.C. watching the fire works from the back of the boat. Looks like the flash blinded her!

Me and Aunt Ashley get kept getting in trouble for taking pictures of the fire works; apparently our flashes were blinding people (party poopers;LOL!)

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!
