What a Week!

Over the last 3 or 4 weeks the girls have been staying up late playing with one another, which leads into somebody somebody picking on somebody, which leads to somebody screaming and crying about the time mommy and daddy are going to bed.  So I made an executive decision and separated them which was kinda bitter sweet for me and them both.  It took 2 or 3 night for MC to not cry for her sister but Kinley bugs took right to it!  By Monday night they were both excited to go to bed in their own beds.  They each slept 4 straight nights in their own bed so Thursday afternoon they got ices!!!! YES this dietitian rewarded her kids with a cup full of crap, lol!
Happy girls!!!!
Friday we loaded up and headed to Jump City. There were very few kids there so we pretty much had the place to ourselves!!!
My sweet girls having a blast!

MC has become so attached to Kirby (baby doll) she now goes everywhere with us.
 Big Smiles from Kinley Bugs!

Big Sis helping Little Sis through some of the obstacles!  I was so proud of Kinley bugs she went down the big slide all by herself!!!
After all the jumping fun we headed to McCalisters to have lunch with our favorite two girls in the whole wide world...Aunt Paige and Cousin Greer!!!  Greer is as beautiful as her momma and was on her best behavior...can't so much for Kinley bugs. IT was her nap time and she had SEVERAL meltdowns!
Then Saturday Me, Shawn, Ashley, and Eric all loaded up and headed to Dallas! Ashley and I have training since March for The Hottest 1/2 marathon in Dallas.  I wish I could say we had a great time in Dallas, but it was wham bam trip. We got there, unloaded at the hotel, went and picked up our race packets, got ready for dinner, had a fabulous dinner, then it was time for bed!
We were up and at them at 6am Sunday morning.  We were both as nervous as can be. No matter how hard you train I don't if your ever really ready to run 13.1 miles!
We got so lucky with the weather. Last years start it was 96 and 104  by the time the first racer cross the line.  I have prayed and prayed for weeks now for cool weather and the Lord answered my prayers!!! It was 73 at the start of the race and in the mid 80s by the end!!!

And this is our buddy Dee!  We started running with us a few months back.  She is truly a runner...we want to be like her when we grow up,lol!
 Mile 3....feeling good!
IDK how we were smiling here because we were just a few miles from the finish and we were in serious pain!

I swear the closer we got to the finish the harder it was to keep going!

This was less than a mile from the finish line....can you tell we were focusing hard.  Shear pain and exhaustion had set in and we wanted to be DONE!!!!
Just steps away from the finish line!!!

Finish line in sight!!! Praise the Lord!!!
And it's over...13.1 miles.... We ran every step of it!  I am so proud of us girls!!!!
13.1 miles.....2 hours 25 mins.....One happy girl with her medal!!!
There is nobody I would have rather trained and ran with than my best friend Ashley!  We put in MANY weeks of 5 am runs on work days and big long runs at 5:30am every Saturday for months and it all paid off!
3 happy 1/2 marathon runners right here!!!!!
MC's school was closed this week so she got to go to school with Kinley.  She wanted them to be twinkies all week twinkies they were!  They started out with the I LOVE YOU JUSTIN BIEBER shirts that my dad bought them1
 Such sweet smiles!
 Worlds's cutest twinkies!
 My big girls!
And they finished the week in the other Justin Bieber shirt my dad got them!
And though we are just weeks away from turning 2....the terrible TWO's have already found my sweet Kinley bugs....Lord helps us all!!!!

Last month to be 4 years old

I can't believe that when I sit down to right next month's blog post you will be 5 years old.  I am so grateful that you are healthy and growing but I'm so sad that my first born baby girl is almost five years old.  I've always hated the fact that you miss the kindergarten start date by a hand full of days but now that we are so close to the start of the school year I am ECSTATIC that you are not going!!!! You have grown and matured so much this last year.  You are still extremely shy in public but at home and around close friends and family you are a social butterfly and entertainer! You love to sing and dance especially to Justin Bieber or Cici and Rocky! You are an amazing and nurturing big sister. First thing you do in the morning is kiss Kinley bugs and tell you love her; it truly melts my heart every morning! You are so full of energy; you flip from one end of our house to the other all day long.  If you aren't singing you are making up a funny cheer!

This summer you have got to go on lots of outings on Ms. Mae's bus!  This past Wednesday you got to ride to the Dollar Store.  You were so excited to get to take your money and buy whatever you wanted.  You came home with Glow Sticks and a tube of plaster to make plastic balloons with (that one threw me and daddy for a loop, lol!)
Kirby is still your favorite baby doll...even though most of her hair has fallen out (due to your fixing it so much).  You sleep with Kirby, take her to school, church, and every other trip we make!
Wednesday you made your very first trip to Davidson camp grounds.  You had a blast with Maggie and Georgia Kate!
LOVE these sweet girls!  I hope they make years and years of wonderful memories together!
Still can't believe you are about to be the BIG FIVE!!!!
Two Saturday's ago Aunt Ashley and  Uncle Eric baby sat you and Kinley so that mommy and daddy could go on a date!  You and Uncle Eric left to grab a pizza but had to stop by the dollar store to get some diapers and you found your very own set of golf clubs.  Sweet Uncle Eric bought them for you and you have been practicing all over the house these last few weeks!
You LOVE to do arts and crafts. You love to make pictures for everybody in our family... especially if you can use glue!  Last week you put on Mimi's glasses while doing crafts... cracked me up!
You still LOVE getting to try on Mommy's earrings.  Even though they look cute on you it will be MANY MANY years before wear earrings likes this MC!!!!
You are so into braids these days! Even though you constantly remind me I don't braid like or as good as Ms. Michelle does, I still try.

Friday we went shopping for school clothes.  You finally got to shop at JUSTICE and you were over joyed to be in there.  There is more glitter and wild prints in that place than anywhere else on the face of the
earth ( which is why you loved it!).
Last night you finally took the time to sit down all by yourself and put your earrings in all by yourself.  I checked on you a million times and you were nervous and cautious but finally got them in all by yourself!!!
And last night while in Hot Springs we stopped by Scoops.... your first Scoops trip and I'm sure it wont be your last because you loved it!!!

22 months old

Kinley Bugs you are officially 22 months old!  You are growing and changing everyday.  You're vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds everyday and it's amazing!  You can go up and down steps with ease now and you LOVE to jump.  This month your new thing is saying.... Mommy watch me, or Mommy watch this!  You have discovered bubble gum and are obsessed with it.  We can't get you to understand that you chew it then spit it out; you just swallow it when your done.  When I ask you where your gum went you say... I chew it.  When I say where is jab your finger down your throat (almost gagging yourself) and say I chew it Momma; cracks me up!

Your hair has really been growing these last few months and you even started growing some bangs.....all which led to a semi mullet look.....So mommy called Ms. Taylor and said you gotta shape this mullet up!
You never moved....probably because of that yummy sucker, lol!
Almost all trimmed up and so excited about it!!!!
Kinley Beth showing off her new hair cut....too cute!!!!
I've been lax on the potty training this last month but last week you just started asking to go to the potty.  It shocked me but I went with it and it's all starting to click with you know! We went to WalMart and got you some Miss-e-Mouse panties and LOVED them!!!
So happy to be going on the potty like a big girl!!!
When you get home from school you typically ask to go tee tee on the potty 3 or 4 times before bed.  A few nights this week you've even kept your diaper dry all night long! GO KINLEY BUGS!!!! As soon as you tee tee or poop on the potty you say... I want smarties and smarties you get!!!!
You're favorite two foods are blueberries and bananas.  You use to call bananas emmies, then you started calling them em-e-nas but this last week you finally put it all together and you now call the BA-NANAS!!!
Daddy has taught you to call those HOGS and it's PRECIOUS!!! Instead of Wooo Pig Sooie you say Ahhhh Pig Sooie and it cracks us up!!!
Cutest Little Razorback....seems like just yesterday MC was this little and wearing this :(
Last weekend you got to stay up late and watch Mommy and Aunt Ashley run the Dam Night Run.  You had a blast playing in the water and eating watermelon at the end of the race.
Sweet Kisses!  MC did a great job catching this moment, thanks MC!!!
MC LOVES taking pics with my phone these days.  She use to get 1/2 my body or cut my head off....but these days she is getting much better which means Mommy is getting some sweet pics!!!
You can now crawl up into your car seat and get your straps on.....such a big girl!
Wednesday night you made your very first trip to Davidson camp grounds!
Even in 103 degree weather you still talked your daddy into pushing your around on the big girl bike!
And you also got your first taste of cobbler and you LOVED it too!  Thanks Ms. Bethany for the yummy cobbler, your the best!!!!
My sweet girls! Just can''t believe they are about to be 2 and 5....OMG!!!!
You no longer get your passy in the church nursery or the gym play room, you only get it during church service.  As soon as you hear us say the word "Church" you instantly say... I want my passy!!! This was your first Davidson church service and you did really good considering the heat, how late at night it was, and all the kids who kept your attention.
Last week Ms. Sandy made us a ding dong cake.  You gobbled  it up and wanted MORE!!! That night in your sleep you talked about cake all night and it cracked me up!
 You love sunglasses these days!
You keep your hot pink pair of sunglasses in the side of your car seat just in case you need them!  As soon as you put them on you holler... Mommy glasses on!
I think this is my favorite picture of us together....LOVE IT!!!!
 Sweet Kisses for Mommy1
Last night we took to Scoops for the very first time and you loved their vanilla, chocolate, and rocky road ice cream! NO we didn't buy you all those just ate bites of everybody's ice cream, lol

But the one thing that hasn't changed over this last month.... you still manage to sneak into Mommy and Daddy's bed at 5:30am every morning.....precious!
